Melissa is an abstract artist whose intention is to create works that transport its viewers to a place of calm and serenity. She works with acrylic, ink, dry pigments, oil, and cold wax medium among other things. Her main focus is organic abstracts, abstracted waterscapes and landscapes as she finds inspiration in nature among the southern California coastline and has a deep connection to the horizon line, it keeps her grounded.
